Make your own schedule
Make your own schedule, something that includes taking time for yourself! Only centering our time around school & work can be extremely exhausting. No wonder why you feel stuck, you aren’t putting yourself first! Set a time every week for you to practice self care & reflection. The more you spend quality time with yourself, the more in touch you will be with your needs. Putting your needs on the back burner will bring you to a place where you feel stuck!
Evaluate your goals in life
What are your goals in life? What is something that you can see yourself doing and loving? If you have a hard time answering this question, think of something that you can talk about for an hour straight. What is something that comes easily to you that you are able to teach others? It’s okay to feel like you don’t have the answer quite yet. That’s why it’s so important for you to spend quality time with yourself! Get to know your needs & desires.
What is pushing you forward, and what is keeping you back?
Be honest when you answer this question: What is pushing you forward, and what is keeping you back? Are there any people in your life who are holding you back from what you truly want to pursue? Is your work schedule getting in the way of your true needs? Do you have a family that encourages you to go after what you want? These questions are very important to ponder on. Our outside situation influences us more than most would like to admit. You need to learn how to distance yourself from the things that make you doubt yourself. Start surrounding yourself with who & what pushing you forward!
