We all know an astrology nut. They are always asking for people’s signs or to do people’s birth charts. It can be something fun to do in their spare time. They can even be really good at it. We all know someone who doesn’t believe in astrology what so ever. They think it is all ludicrous with generic descriptions that can fit about anyone depending on how it’s interpreted. Whoever you identify with more, astrology is a great tool to use to practice being more self aware. In life it is easy to go through periods where we lose our selfs. We aren’t sure of our identities. Our sense of direction feels as if it is diminishing.
Astrology is a tool people can use to help them tune into who they are, and who they’re not. As humans, we are naturally egotistical. We love hearing what first impression we give to others, what our talents are, and what our best traits are. Whether you believe in astrology or not, your birth chart tells us all of these things. To be self aware is to be in a state where you feel confident enough to examine your best and worst traits. You accentuate your best qualities, and work on your poor qualities. With astrology you are able to decide if you identify with certain descriptions or not.
You could be a Capricorn and say you don’t relate to being hard working at all, you are actually lazy. You can also turn around and say you still relate to being a very mature person. Astrology tunes you into what you are and what you are not. So how is this beneficial? Becoming more self aware can help you grow in ways you haven’t before. When you pay attention to your positive traits, you get a better sense of how you should direct your life. You understand your calling deeper than ever before. It’s important to not ignore your negative traits. Instead, acknowledge what negative traits you exhibit. Look for ways to turn it around, make yourself healthier starting from the inside. Being self aware isn’t the phrase ‘It’s my way or the highway’. It is about respecting yourself and your personal relationships so much that you are willing to improve day to day. It’s not changing yourself, it is growing into the best version of you.
